ABCmouse Free Promo Code: How Parents Can Sign-Up

We’ve never been faced with our kids being out of school for anything like this before. Millions of parents are faced with working at home, if they’re lucky enough to have a job still, and become the teacher for their kids with little to no time to prep. Thankfully, there are companies out there who are doing what they can to make this stressful time for parents a little easier. ABCmouse, an educational software program, has announced they are giving away a free code to access their program and here’s what parents need to know.

What Is ABCmouse.com?

ABCmouse is a web-based and app-based learning program designed for kids between the ages of 2-8 years old. The online learning software is created by a company called Age of Learning. Normally, they make money through subscriptions to their online learning program for kids.

The goal of the company is “to help children build a strong foundation for future academic success by providing a comprehensive and engaging online curriculum to greatly assist early learners to succeed in pre-k, kindergarten, and early elementary school programs.” Subscribers have access to all the programs, which is comprehensive enough to be their kindergarten through early grades of school.

Why kids love ABCmouse

The best thing about ABCmouse is each lesson, book, or game a child plays is entertaining and engaging for kids. They don’t see it as having to learn, but the benefit of playing a fund adventure game or listening to a great story.

“Engagement factor is extremely important in a child’s learning, there are very specific curriculum objectives for every single activity in any of our products,” founder Doug Dohring explained to KTLA5 news.

As a mom of four, I can honestly say, ABCmouse is solid. It’s not a permanent substitute for hands-on learning, but it has given me more than a few guilt-free breaks.

How to get free access to ABCmouse

Now that more children are out of school and their routines more than ever, the ABCmouse.com team has decided to give free access to their popular learning program. A subscription typically costs $10 a month to unlock more than 10,000+ learning activities, songs, books, games, and art projects.

“Providing quality educational resources specifically in this crucial time to kids is very important,” explained Dohring. Their program works on a variety of platforms, including Chromebooks, computers, phones and tablets and is truly interactive fun for kids.

To get free access for your child, the school that your child attends needs first to request it using this form. According to KTLA5 news, the response to this free access has been overwhelming so there is some delay between when the school requests the free subscriptions and when the form is processed.

If you would like to try out ABCmouse while you wait for your kid’s school to fill out the form and get approved, the company is offering a no-obligation 30-day free trial which will give access to all its programming.
