What is Amazon Kids+?

Amazon Kids+ is an app and all-in-one subscription that provides over 16,000 kid-friendly apps, games, books and shows all with the best parental controls.

Parents can choose what content their kids see, and set educational goals and time limits and kids can enjoy unlimited access to channels and characters including Disney, Sesame Street, Nickelodeon, PBS, and more!

While on Kids+, your kids won’t have access to any social media channels and they cannot make in-app purchases – so there aren’t any surprise charges on your Amazon account. Even better, you can set up to four profiles for your kids so they can personalize their favorite apps, games, shows and more.

Amazon Kids+ is available on Kindles, Fire Tablets, Android phones and tablets, Fire TV, iOS, Echo devices and Amazon Kid Edition tablets.

This is great! My daughter loves to read and she can read as much as she wants!

I have been using FreeTime through Amazon for months and my kids love it! I also love it because I can set a specific amount of time that my children have to read before they can play games and set the on and off time on the device so they are not tempted to play in the middle of the night. Definitely worth it. (Also I only use the single account and just log into the same account from all the devices, my kids are close in age so they don’t need different content).

My kids use their Kindles with Freetime Unlimited on our car trips all the time. You just have to download whatever apps or books you want before leaving. After downloading, most of the apps don’t require WiFi to play them. I think you can download videos as well, but we haven’t tried that.
